Color Study
Our clients wanted a living space that felt vibrant yet inviting, one that would embrace bold color while still maintaining balance and comfort. By leaning into a monochromatic terracotta palette and layering sculptural furnishings with playful accents, we reimagined their formal living room into a modern, artful retreat that feels both elevated and approachable.
For this living room redesign, the vision centered on color as the driving force. A warm terracotta hue envelops the space from walls to ceiling, creating a cocoon-like atmosphere that feels both daring and harmonious. To offset the richness, we introduced sculptural furnishings in creamy neutrals and layered in accents of black, blue, and soft pastels, ensuring the room feels playful while still grounded.
The fireplace, once a simple backdrop, now serves as an anchor framed by sleek bookcases and contemporary sconces. Rounded lounge chairs, a clean-lined sofa, and a mix of modern lighting pieces bring softness and movement, while a curated selection of artwork and accessories adds depth and personality.
As with all our projects, we began with a mood board to define the palette and tone, followed by detailed furniture planning to optimize flow and proportion. The design was developed through 2D layouts and refined in 3D renderings, allowing the clients to fully envision their transformed space. The result is a bold yet balanced living room that celebrates color, art, and modern comfort in equal measure.
